2009 Virginia Tech Football: North Carolina State TV Information

I halfway expected this game would be another Internet-only broadcast. Instead, the league announced today the Hokies' game against NC State is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EST and will be televised on ESPNU.

ESPNU is on channel 614 on DirecTV and is a part of its basic "Choice" package. On Dish Network, ESPNU is on channel 141 and is part of its basic "Bronze 100" package. Unfortunately, ESPNU is not currently available in HD on either system.

However, according to Wikipedia, ESPNU HD is available on Time Warner Cable, Verizon FIOS, AT&T U-Verse, Blue Ridge Communications, Atlantic Broadband and Broadstripe. It looks like you guys with Comcast are also SOL when it comes to getting this one in HD.

Standard def TV is better than no TV so I'm taking this as good news.
