A Quick Holiday Gift Guide for Virginia Tech Fans

The holidays will be here before you know it and there are several obvious and not so obvious places to shop for Virginia Tech related items for all your gift-giving needs. Of course, there are the obvious places that have physical stores in Blacksburg:

Campus Emporium
Tech Bookstore
University Bookstore

After the jump are a few links to places you might not have thought of while doing your holiday shopping online.

Historic Football Posters has taken old football programs and turned them into posters for a laundry list of schools, including VT. There are several available for the Hokies and they're can be purchased in several sizes with mats and frames.

Asgard Press has turned many of the same old game program covers into calendars for Virginia Tech, bowl games and several other college football teams.

Ivan Morozov takes the best photos of Virginia Tech's campus you'll find. Once again his photos have been turned into a wall calendar for 2010. I received a free copy from Ivan and I guarantee you won't find a better calendar for the Hokie fan in your life.

Gameday Passion has several creative T-shirt designs you won't find anywhere else. These unlicensed shirts feature some of Hokie fans' favorite game day activities as well as shirts honoring Bud Foster and Eddie Royal. They also have koozies that have the same screen print you'll find on many of their shirts.

Sports Poster Warehouse has about a dozen Virginia Tech posters available including several panoramas of Lane Stadium.

Cornhole.com has cornhole boards, bags and accessories available in orange and maroon. This is where I got my bags from as well as what you see above: A scoreboard/beverage holder. Those things are beyond clutch. After getting my bags from cornhole.com, they gave me a free score tower when I linked to them from the old blog. Since then I've gone back whenever I've needed new bags or other cornhole items.

If you come across any other sites you think Hokie fans would appreciate while shopping please let me know and I'll add them.

Important Note: With the exception of Ivan's calendar and the cornhole.com beverage tower, I have not purchased anything from any of the above sites, nor have they asked for links on this blog. The only solicited mention came from cornhole.com and that was for a post prior to the 2008 football season, not for this specific post. I received no money or merchandise in exchange for inclusion on this post.

Thanks

Thanks a ton for this, man. My girlfriend wanted the old Clemson-Auburn programs really bad and I just had no clue how to find them. Just stumbled on the one link up there because it said “and other schools.” Now she’s getting an awesome surprise for Christmas because I actually found one. Thanks again.
