Hokies Will Face Tennessee in Peach Bowl

Matt Garvey of the Chick-fil-A Bowl (I still call it the Peach Bowl) just sent out a press release announcing Tennessee had accepted an invitation to play in the game on Dec. 31. However, it also included this quote from Tennessee AD Mike Hamilton:

"We're excited about the opportunity to return to the Chick-fil-A Bowl and play a tremendous opponent in Virginia Tech," said Mike Hamilton, Tennessee director of athletics. " Gary Stokan and his staff have always done a tremendous job of hosting teams, coaches, administrators and fans. We are looking forward to spending a wonderful week in Atlanta."

While this may have been an oversight, I think it's safe to assume that if the Hokies don't get selected for a BCS bowl (and I seriously doubt they will get selected) they're heading to Atlanta to face the hated Vols. Now I just have to find the money to get to Atlanta for this game.
