Wahoooooooo... I'm Wary of London

It looks like the Hoos are going to announce Mike London as their next head coach. Unfortunately for the Hokies, I think UVa has found the right man for the job.

London is the kind of young, energetic coach with local ties who can compete with Tech's coaches for the Commonwealth's top talent. He was UVa's recruiting coordinator for three years and its defensive coordinator for two before going to Richmond and winning the NCAA Division 1 national title in his first year with the Spiders.

Winning in the FCS doesn't guarantee success in FBS, but there are plenty of coaches who have made the jump and had success like Jim Tressel and Paul Johnson. Whether London follows in their footsteps remains to be seen, but I know this for certain: The rivalry is a rivalry again.

I think he's the perfect fit for UVA

and I want football to improve in the conference, even though it could mean we lose more. But will he stay there if he wins?
