ESPN has managed to put together a meeting between Virginia Tech and Boise State for the opening weekend of the 2010 season, thus leaving the Chippewas in the dark.
Instead of losing the Hokies as an opponent, the game will now be moved to Oct. 9, and CMU will instead host a Football Championship Subdivision school yet to be named on Thursday of Labor Day weekend to kick start the Dan Enos era.

Well
The only place it is being reported is a back-woods paper in Central Michigan? This guy has supposedly been talking about it as a “done deal” for a couple of days now per chatter on Hokie Haven, so I’m not convinced.
Once I see it reported by an outlet closer to one of the two teams actually playing the game, I’ll work up a furious lather and begin screaming about ESPN’s stranglehold on college football.
the pressure will be on bsu for this game.
they have to win to get into a bcs bowl while your team could lose and still get invited. the point spread in this game will be interesting. bsu is third in most upcoming polls for the upcoming season while i see v.t around 8th or 9th. fedex field will be considered nuetral but it’s just about a home game for your team. i say bsu gets +3 for the game.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. I was building a house, I don't deserve this, deserves have nothing to do with it. Bang. "Unforgiven" I drink your milkshake. I drink it up! "There Will BE Blood"
