The Morning Sun in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., reports Virginia Tech's game with Central Michigan has been moved to Oct. 9 so the Hokies can play Boise State on Labor Day. Much more on this later. I really don't like this move. H/T: notavailableforcomment

Why?

Would assume it’s because you want a “warm up” game. As an outside fan, I like it. Much better than our sure to be quality matchup against South Carolina State

The college football season is so fragile. It's like a glass ball being pushed around from stadium to stadium by a rhinoceros.

Still no report

from any other source with regards to this move. The individual who drafted that article was talking about it more than a day before this bit was posted, so I am hoping that he is just jumping the gun on the talk of moving the date.
