Question from a Duke fan
I'm a Duke student (though also somewhat of a Tech fan from growing up) making my first trip ever to Lane Stadium, and the first trip to Tech since I was in middle school, this Saturday. Any advice/helpful info that I should know going up there for the first time, whether it be parking advice, places to see in the stadium, or anything else that I should know as a first-timer to Lane Stadium for a game? Thanks.

I’m assuming you don’t have a parking pass for the game.
There are two places I usually park when I don’t have a parking pass.
Blacksburg High School parking used to cost $5, but the last time I parked there this year no one was taking money. From there you can ride the Gameday Shuttle via Blacksburg Transit to the stadium. It used to cost $2 but i have heard that it went up to $5 this year. Transportation from the stadium back to BHS is free on the Gameday Shuttle.
If you get there early enough you can park at Blacksburg Baptist Church on Main Street. It is within a decent walking distance of the stadium. The last time I parked there it cost $5.
There isn’t much to see within the stadium itself. There is a Hall of Fame walkthrough inside Cassell Coliseum that is usually open.
