#Hokies RB Ryan Williams (hamstring) is listed as probable for Sat. game vs. Duke on Tech's official injury report. He was out for 4 1/2 gmsless than a minute ago via web

Last week, Virginia Tech's injury report had sophomore running back Ryan Williams listed as "Questionable" and he didn't play against Wake Forest. This week, the Hokies have upgraded Williams to "Probable" prior to their upcoming game against Duke.

That goes along with what Billy Hite said earlier this week. He told the media he expects Williams to be on the field for one or two series, which I assume means he'll receive a handful of carries.

Williams injured his right hamstring late in the first half of Virginia Tech's third game of the season against East Carolina. Since then, the Hokie offense has exploded and scored 41 or more points in four of the last five games.

If Williams returns to the field against Duke, it will mean he should be close to 100 percent by the time the Hokies take on Georgia Tech to being their tough November stretch. It will be interesting to see how Williams will be used and how many carries he'll get coming off his injury.
