Are we going ORANGE EFFECT for the ORANGE Bowl???  Stanford's red is too close to our Maroon and I think we'd show the country we took over Dolphin Stadium!! 

I recall the Kansas game, Orange Bowl '08, it was embarrassing to be a Jayhawk fan, 80- 20 ratio of maroon to blue (although we lost the football game and then to make matters worse, Kansas went on to win the Basketball championship that spring, sooooooo it still hurts...)  and besides how many Cardinal (why did they forget to pluralize the nick name???) will really make the transcontinental trip to south florida?
