and their ritual shaking of keychains during “key plays” (pun sadly intended) on defense creates a mind-numbing metallic din that’s easily the most annoying sound in sports history.

Ummm Miss. St cowbells? GT’s incessant use of the PA system to play rap music for a bunch of tech geeks? Penn St. playing their crap music throughout the entire game?

While I do think the “key play” is pretty pointless, it’ was a creative way of making a legal “noisemaker” when Bulldog fans blatantly break the rules with their cowbells.
