The epistemological nether-world that is Jerry Palm's mind

For those of you who don't know, CBSSport's "premier" bracketologist (and yes, you are right if you figured that I said this with some degree of cynicism) had the Virginia Tech Hokies in the tournament two weeks ago, only to remove them from last week's projections after two ACC wins. Now, even after beating the #11 team in the RPI (Wake Forest) and standing 21-4 (8-3) Jerry says in an interview with Hokiehaven.com that he believes we will have to go 12-4 in the ACC to make the tournament! Some bracketology expert this guy is. All I have got to say is that Jerry Palm should run for office as much as he flip flops. In no way can I understand us being in 2-3 weeks ago and NOT being in now. Didn't think we were in then? Don't think we're in now? Fine. But don't put us in 2 weeks ago and then watch us roll up 3 ACC wins and move into 2nd place in the conference and then put us out. Let's get some consistency Mr. Palm!
