Haters gonna hate...
...ballers gonna ball.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't doubt Virginia Tech's ability to beat UConn last night. Shame on me. And while Malcolm Delaney had an off-night from the field, he still contributed a helluva lot to the Hokies' win in last night's second-round NIT game. Delaney finished with nine assists against three turnovers, including the assist on Dorenzo Hudson's dagger with 14 seconds left.

I figured he’d have an off game against a more athletic team. Hopefully he steps it up against Rhode Island .

delaney was getting fouled a lot that they weren't calling
but, he played some great basketball even though his shot wasn’t falling. he took a brutal elbow to the face for a charge, got decked by dyson in transition and got kicked in the face by majuk while on the ground. the guy just took a beating all night, but hung in there to help his teammates. still can’t believe edwards missed that layup though, they should’ve won. oh well, go hokies!
