Virginia Tech Assistant Basketball Coach Bill Courtney Hired at Cornell
Cornell has selected Virginia Tech men's basketball assistant coach Bill Courtney to become its next head coach, according to Mark Viera of the Washington Post.
Courtney coached for the Hokies for only one season. Prior to coming to Tech, he was on the sidelines with Virginia.
Courtney is the second assistant coach to leave the Hokies this season. Associate head coach Ryan Odom took an assistant job at Charlotte three weeks ago.

I have a feeling this move will hurt our recruiting more than anything. If I’m not mistaken he is the one who signed Landesburg at that other school in the state and was also bringing in some huge guys in the 2011 class.
