Malcolm Delaney Returning to Virginia Tech for Senior Season
The official deadline for underclassmen to withdraw from the NBA draft isn't until tomorrow. But if you go off Virginia Tech guard Malcolm Delaney's Twitter feed, it appears the ACC's leading scorer from a year ago is returning to school.
Delaney declared for the draft March 31, but did not sign with an agent, making him eligible to return to school by the May 8 deadline. He was able to work out for NBA teams this week.
If Delaney officially returns to school, the Hokies will have all five starters back from a team that went 25-9, 10-6 in the ACC and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NIT. He averaged 20.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in 2009-10.
UPDATE: Andy Katz says it's official over at ESPN.

good thing, he needs to master spelling :)
All jokes aside, I am PUMPED now. Go Hokies!!
This is the year...
Agree
Him being drafted in the first round and being successful in the NBA is only going to help the program. Plus it’s hard to root against him.

Bad news for the rest of the ACC
Not that it really matters to me next season, with BC’s current roster of 7 scholarship players.

Which team will be worse?
BC or Oklahoma?
