Hokie Fans:
Still on the fence about going to the Hokies' game against Boise State on Labor Day? Well SB Nation has an offer that might convince you to be in DC for No. 6 Virginia Tech's season opener against the No. 5 Broncos.
From now until Aug. 23, SB Nation Team Pick is offering $99 club level tickets for only $60. The ticket includes parking and entrance to the FedEx Field Party Deck. This special offer is for a limited time, so act fast. We want the place packed and as loud as possible for when Frank Beamer's squad takes the field.
More details are available at the SB Nation Team Pick website. Go Hokies!

I would love to take advantage of this :)
and if I were anywhere within a 10 hour drive from DC I would! Instead I am 2500 miles from DC . . .(which means a $60 game ticket becomes $500 after airfare, hotel, etc. . . . ) Drat!

Then, maybe someone "in the know"
needs to hook up with the US Armed Forces MWR people and get some tickets to the troops!
(Of course, my facetious, initial response was "those must be part of the tickets allocated for BSU fans . . " snicker, snicker)
