something tells me that isn’t the real ryan williams in those pictures
Apparently, the black is in homage to the Corps of Cadets
(Kyle Tucker link with info . . . http://hamptonroads.com/blogs/kyle-tucker )
As early as the founding of the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College in 1872, there has been a Corps of Cadets. VPISU is recognized under federal law as one of six senior military colleges in the country, separate and apart from the service academies. Only one other program like it exists in the country and that is at Texas A&M. Also, by doing so, Nike has continued/expounded upon the “UT PROSIM” from last year’s uniforms.
I had my reservations when I heard the rumors and when I first saw the photos this morning. However, after reading that the black is to honor the Corps of Cadets, I have to say that I am 100% in favor of the color.

Yuck.
If the black is in honor of the corps of cadets, the remainder must be in honor of Halloween.
Well, my high school colors are orange/black
so I don’t immediately think Halloween when I see the combination.

My eyes.....my eyes
Holy God those shoes are scary.
Are the players on board?
If so, then I don’t care. If the players see the uniforms as revolting, then that will be a distraction.

Thing next to gloves
Is that a hand warmer for that cold summer day the first week of September in DC?
Guess we’ll have to be wearing these things more than once. Definitely against Florida A&M, i mean Miami, when they break out their new ones for the first time.
These uniforms are straight out of Tron
That’s not a good thing.
I'm reserving judgment
until I see them in action. I hated the white ones at first, but liked them after the UVa game (Wonder why?). I like the black, like the helmet. But I need some serious convincing on the numbers and shoulder stripes.
