Just an observation from the ECU game.
I don't know if anyone noticed, but ECU's very first play should have never happened. The stadium was loud and ECU was visibly thrown off by this, so much so that the play clock was at zero for a good three seconds before the ball was snapped. There was no penalty. I took that as a sign, but thankfully the rest of the game didn't turn out that way. That was just one thing that stuck out in my head about the game.

As we learned after the MSU fake field goal
the actual game clock and play clock are kept on the field by the official. Usually it’s not off by three seconds, but that could be the explanation.
