Virginia Tech and North Carolina State Will Kick Off at 3:30 on Oct. 2 on ABC

The ACC has announced game times for the three games selected for the six-day option on Oct. 2, including Virginia Tech at NC State. The Hokies and Wolfpack will kick off at 3:30 p.m. EDT and be televised regionally by ABC.

Regional coverage maps for the game will be released later this week. Check back for details.

This is the Hokies' first appearance on ABC this season. They appeared four times on the network in 2009, including one national broadcast. The other two ACC games that did not have previously announced game times will both start at Noon. Florida State and Virginia will be televised on the ACC Network and Miami and Clemson will be on ESPN2/ESPN 3D.

The game time for Virginia Tech-Central Michigan will likely be announced Monday. My guess is the game will not be selected for television, leaving it for ESPN3. In the past, the athletics department has had Internet-only games start at 1:30 p.m. ET.

UPDATE: Below is the regional coverage map for the game from HD Sports Guide:

Those in the green area will see the Game on your local ABC affiliate. If you live in the orange area, the game is only available through ESPN's GamePlan pay-per-view package or on ESPN3.com.
