Green had a FANTASTIC week, averaging 19 ppg. 3.5 apg. and 3 spg. in two games, including his career-high 24-point effort that propelled the Hokies to victory over Maryland. It's the sophomore's first such honor, and he becomes the third Hokie this year (Delaney and Allen) to garner this award. Also in unrelated (but basketball news) word is that former Hokie SG Ben Boggs has transferred to Valparaiso. So while he avoided logjam in the long-term, he missed out on a golden opportunity for playing time with the Hokies this spring, as no matter what he will not play until 2012 for Valpo.
