UNC Charlotte announced at its football town hall today that it has added Virginia Tech to its 2019 schedule. Unlike the Wahoos, who scheduled a home-and-home with UTSA, the Hokies will have just the home game against the soon-to-be program. The 49ers will take the field in 2013 at a 15,000-seat on-campus stadium.
