The discrepancy on time is between Beamer and Hokiesports. Beamer reported a 2-week recovery period this morning on his website, although the 4-6 week timetable given by the athletic department would seem to be more realistic. If he is unable to go by the opener, either Michael Via or Vinston Painter is expected to start in his stead.
