VT to Sugar Bowl via AT-LARGE due to an easy schedule and loss to FSU in ACC championship game.
We’ll see. I think a better projection would be VT loses 1-2 games in regular season, beats FSU in ACC championship game, and FSU gets the at-large. But, I’m not a writer or a prognosticator.

If there was ever a year to do it, it’s this one. I dunno, though, the Hokies are kind-of damnned if they do, damnned if they don’t. I was having a debate with a medical student (and SEC mouthbreather) who did his undergraduate work at LSU and was at Tiger Stadium for the blowout there in ’07. His remark was “Either they have a cupcake schedule or get their asses kicked- or both.”
He’s a medical student, though, and since I have to do my damndest to keep him from killing all of my patients until he actually learns something about medicine, I chose to bite my tongue. But as I’ve said many times- even though I’m a Wahoo fan, I want someone to take those SEC a$$holes down a couple notches, and if there was a program to do it, it’s the Hokies.

On Coach Beamer’s teleconference call today, he annouced t "He’s got a knee sprain there," "We’ll release Thursday what his status is going to be." Lets hope that VIA’s recovery is a quick one!
