I posted a question over on Shakin' the Southland if they thought Clemson could get an at-large bid even if FSU wins the Atlantic divion. Surprisingly (to me) about half think Clemson must win the ACC to go to the BCS and 1/4 think the Tigers are not going to the BCS at all this year, period. Those guys tend to be a little pessimistic. I see it differently (2012 ACC Pre-Season - Another BCS At-Large?). What do you Hokies think? (continued.. )
I'm not saying an ACC team is going to win the national championship this year (though FSU, Clemson, and Va Tech may all have a shot IMO)... but I tend to think it will be a good year for the conference. What do you think? Which is most likely?1) The ACC champ will play for the National Championship and another ACC team will go to the Orange Bowl (i.e. 2 BCS teams)
2) No ACC team in the BCS NC, but the conference will send 2 teams anyway just like last year
3) VT will go to the Orange Bowl and that's the only BCS team from the ACC
3) VT will not go to the BCS, someone else will represent the conference.
