The class of 2013 is now almost a week old, but before we move on to the class of 2014, we will have at least two more posts about the incoming class. This first one is a look at some of the interviews we've conducted with players that signed with the Hokies, either on scholarship or as an invited walk-on. In our next post, we'll do a breakdown of the class as a whole and evaluate what the Hokies coaches' did well with this class and what they will need to improve on going forward. National Signing Day provided the Hokies much needed help on defense, especially the secondary, headlined by Kendall Fuller and Holland Fisher, along with future stars on offense like Bucky Hodges and Carlis Parker. The Hokies also fended off strong push by other powerhouse programs such as Alabama and Michigan to secure some of the commits despite the coaching staff turnover.

National Signing Day is official over, and the 2013 Virginia Tech recruiting class has officially gone down (at least as of now) as the best class in school history, at least as it pertains to rankings.
