Robinson is a three-star prospect according to 247Sports. They rate him as the No. 140 player in the nation, the 24th best point guard and the third best prospect in Maryland.
Last season, Robinson earned all-conference honors while leading St. James High School to a 22-5 overall record. He played his first two seasons at Montrose Christian.
Robinson joins Kerry Blackshear Jr. in Tech's 2015 recruiting class. The Hokies don't have any more scholarships remaining for that class but with talented players like Chris Clarke still considering Tech, it will be interesting to see if Buzz Williams can make the numbers work.
