#ALLMAROONEVERYTHING RT @Hokie20: The rumor can be put to bed: Tech will have maroon pants this year. #Hokies http://t.co/nZkQUfsD8F

According to former GC writer Clark Ruhland, the Hokies will be getting maroon pants, a constant criticism of the fan base for several years now since the Hokies stopped wearing the 2008 version of their Nike uniform in 2010. UPDATE: Clark announced via Twitter that these uniforms were a previous incarnation of the uniforms and that they displayed the outdated TV logo. So it looks like no maroon pants. :( DOUBLE UPDATE: Zach Mariner of the Collegiate Times reports that Virginia Tech Equipment Manager Lester Karlin says that they're "kicking the idea around" of maroon pants in 2013. He also says that if they do go with them, they'll resemble Nike artwork. So maybe maroon pants back on!?
Here is Chris Hatcher's Q&A with Timothy Tolman of The Saturday Edge about the Hokies wrap-up of spring football. In it, they discuss what looked good/bad about the team in the spring, assign grades to the positions and project sleeper players for fall.
