From Mark Berman of the Roanoke Times: Austin Wates, Mathew Price, Buddy Sosnoskie, Jesse Hahn and Tim Smalling still haven't signed after being taken in June's MLB Draft. Hahn intends to sign, Smalling is coming back and the other three have until 11:59 p.m. EDT on Monday to make up their minds.

Halos Heaven has the details on Joe Saunders' gem last night against the A's. Saunders struggled early in the year, but is 4-1, 2.63 (14 ER/48.0 IP) in his last seven starts to lower his ERA from 7.04 to 4.35. He was 1-5 and gave up 24 ER in 30.2 IP in his first six starts of the season.

Andy Seiler of MLB Bonus Baby has Jesse Hahn as the 6th-best and Austin Wates as the 12th-best players available in the MLB Draft entering Day 2. Rounds 2-30 will take place today.
