Nate Marquardt is reportedly in negotiations to make his first post-UFC appearance on the upcoming Amazon Forest Combat fight card going down on Sept. 14 in Brazil, according to Tatame.com. Royler Gracie and Paulo Filho have already signed on to compete at the event and the promotion is said to also be in talks with UFC veterans Patrick Cote and Marcus Davis.

The UFC will uphold any potential suspension for Nate Diaz as a result of the April Strikeforce brawl, according to Dana White via MMA Weekly: "If he gets suspended we're going to honor it," said UFC president Dana White on Saturday following UFC 114. "I didn't hear that he was going to get suspended. I didn't hear that, but if he does, it is what it is," said White. "These things happen when you get in a fight like that."
