So I thought, "Okay, if you wanna take this to the next level, then let’s turn it on a bit." So I started up the Photoshop thread [cagewarriors]. Which … (laughs) … seemed to really upset him. And then it occurred to me how sensitive the guy is, and how ridiculous he’s being about the whole thing.

And to be honest, now, it’s just I’m pokin’ at him, and he’s gettin’ more and more angry, and he just can’t deal with it. He can’t wait to get in there and get fighting, which is exactly how I wanted it. He’s either going to come in raging like a maniac and make some silly mistake, or he’s try and control himself and burn out under the aggression that he’s trying to hold back. ~ Dan Hardy on the feud with Marcus Davis

WKR: There has been a recent war of words between you and Marcus Davis where you called him "a fake Irishman." Is there general animosity between the two of you?

Dan Hardy: This is not an act, I called him out on a few things and touched a couple of nerves and now he wont stop whining. I met him before and he seemed like a decent guy, I don't need any more friends though, I need opponents. I don't like the fact that he thinks he has some kind of hold over the U.K. I'll keep poking fun at him to make sure he is training hard, then when I beat him down, he will have no excuses.

"This is the thing," Davis explained. "I wanna stop fighting British guys (in England). Now I say bring me Americans. I hear a lot about fighting Dan, I think he is a good fighter, great stand-up and a good record. I think it would be an interesting fight. But I just hope we don't do it here."
