2009 Virginia Tech Football: Virginia TV Information

The ACC announced times and television for the league's Nov. 28 games on Monday and it included more good news for Virginia Tech fans. The Hokies' game at Virginia will start at 3:30 p.m. EST and be broadcast on ESPN. It will be the second consecutive week all of the league's games will be on some form of television.

This is good news for Tech Tailgaters as the Hokies avoid another Noon or 1 p.m. kickoff. This is the first time the Commonwealth Cup battle hasn't kicked off at Noon since 2004 when the game started at 1 p.m. as part of an ABC regional telecast.

The announcement means nine of Tech's 12 regular season games will be on TV in 2009. Tech will have appeared on ABC three times, ESPN three times and once each on Raycom, ESPN2 and ESPNU. The Marshall, Duke and Maryland games were streamed on ESPN360.com.
