HokieSports.com posted updated TV information for this weekend's game against UVa and it was more good news for Virginia Tech fans. The game was originally only going to be shown solely on ESPN (DirecTV 206) at 3:30 p.m. EST Saturday. However, an ABC/ESPN reverse mirror has been added to that game.
Those of you in the Mid-Atlantic states will now be able to see the game on your local ABC station. If you can see the VT-UVa game locally, the Miami-South Florida game will be on ESPN. If you're outside the geographic region that will have the Hokies on your local station, the game will still be on ESPN.
This is a minor change that just means more households will have access to the Hokies and Hoos. However, the game will still be available nationally, will still be broadcast in HD and will still start at 3:30 p.m. EST.
