Updated ACC Baseball Tournament Schedule and Scenarios

The NC State-Georgia Tech game Friday night was suspended in the first inning due to rain and will resume at 10 a.m. EDT Saturday at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro, N.C.

Darryl Slater of the Richmond Times-Dispatch predicts the new start times for the regularly scheduled Saturday games at his blog. He thinks the Miami-Virginia game will start at 1:45, the Georgia Tech-Clemson game at 5:30 and the Virginia Tech-NC State game at 9:15. However, there's a 40 percent chance of rain tomorrow.

The main thing to remember for the Hokies is that they have to win against NC State to advance to the ACC championship game Sunday. Every other scenario has someone else advancing out of the pool and three teams (Tech, NC State and Georgia Tech) still have a chance to advance.

If NC State Beats Georgia Tech
(VT and NCSU are 2-0 entering the last game)

The winner of the Virginia Tech-NC State game wins the pool.

If GT Beats NCSU and CU Beats GT
(VT is 2-0 and NCSU is 1-1 entering the last game)

The winner of the Virginia Tech-NC State game wins the pool.

If GT Beats NCSU and CU and NCSU beats VT
(GT, NCSU and VT are 2-1)

GT goes wins the pool because it had a better regular season record than NCSU and VT
