Virginia Tech's Tyrod Taylor and Beau Warren Begin Shrine Game Preparations

Two Virginia Tech players, QB Tyrod Taylor and C Beau Warren, have their first practice for the East-West Shrine Game today in Orlando. Taylor and Warren will play for Dan Reeves' East team at 4 p.m. EST Saturday at the Citrus Bowl on NFL Network.

Taylor and Warren are among eight ACC players participating in the game along with the West's Da'Rel Scott and fellow East players Marvin Austin, Mario Butler, Graig Cooper, Chris Hairston and DeMarcus Van Dyke. Though it doesn't carry as much clout as the Senior Bowl, which will be played Jan. 29 in Mobile, this is still a good chance for both Taylor and Warren to make a good impression on NFL scouts prior to the draft.

Full practice schedule after the jump.

All practices will be at the Citrus Bowl practice fields. If you're in the Orlando area and want to get one more good look at Tyrod in a VT helmet, this is the week to do it.
