Hokies in the NFL Week 5

So we're back with the Hokies in the NFL series this week with last week's Week 5 while posting Week 6 tomorrow. Did I say the word "week" enough for you? Week.

Another former Hokie joins the injured list this week, one former Hokie has a rough outing, and one bounces back from an injury with a solid week.

Injured: Eddie Royal (groin)
Inactives: Xavier Adibi, Darren Evans
Out for the season: Roc Carmichael (shoulder), Cody Grimm (knee), Ryan Williams (knee)


James Anderson-LB, Carolina Panthers: James had 10 tackles 5 solo tackles, including a tackle for loss.

Kam Chancellor-S, Seattle Seahawks: After sitting out a week, Kam came back and had pretty solid game. Chancellor had 1 interception (returned for 9 yards), five solo tackle (6 total), and 1 fumble recovery.

Brandon Flowers-CB, Kansas City Chiefs: Flowers had two solo tackles and four total tackles in the Chiefs 28-24 win over the Colts.

DeAngelo Hall-CB, Washington Redskins: Redskins had a bye week.

Jeff King-TE, Arizona Cardinals: Ol' Jeff had 5 catches for 35 yards.

Josh Morgan-WR, San Francisco 49ers: Morgan had 5 catches for 75 yards but unfortunately was injured in the blowout win for the 49ers. Morgan will miss the rest of the season.

Carlton Powell-DT, Atlanta Falcons: Did not accumulate any stats.

Tyrod Taylor-QB, Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens had a bye week

Darryl Tapp-DE, Philadelphia Eagles: Tapp made his return to the line-up for the Eagles with three tackles, two of them solo

Mike Vick-QB, Philadelphia Eagles: Vick was 26/40 for 315 yards, 2 TDs, but threw FOUR interceptions. Vick ran 6 times for 90 yards, including a long of 53. Vick had a 2-yard TD pass to Jeremy Maclin in the second quarter and a 31-yard TD pass to DeSean Jackson early in the fourth quarter.

Jason Worilds-LB, Pittsburgh Steelers: Did not accumulate any stats.
