The Virginia Tech Hokies and Clemson Tigers will meet in the 2011 ACC Championship Game at 8 p.m. EST Saturday, Dec. 3 in Charlotte on ESPN, ESPN3D and ESPN3.com. The winner will claim the ACC title and a spot in the Orange Bowl, to be played at 8 p.m. EST Wednesday, Jan. 4 in Miami.
Public tickets for the ACC Championship Game are sold out, so Hokie fans looking for tickets will have to get them either through the Virginia Tech ticket office or on the secondary market. The two best places to look online are TiqIQ (an SB Nation affiliate site) and StubHub.
TiqIQ is sort of like the Kayak of the secondary ticket market, getting ticket prices from various places like eBay, Ticket Network and Tickets Now (which is run by Ticketmaster). If TiqIQ is like Kayak, then StubHub is like Southwest Airlines. You can't find their prices on TiqIQ, but occasionally you can find a better deal through them.
As of Nov. 27, TiqIQ has over 7,000 tickets available for the game ranging from $56-$840 and StubHub has over 3,000 tickets available ranging from $65 to over $6,000.
When looking for tickets, be aware that the Coastal Division champion will always have the south side of Bank of America Stadium, the side with the press box. Refer to this seating chart from the ACC Championship Game host committee when looking for seat locations and face-value prices:
