The Virginia Tech Hokies are again a Top 10 football team. The Hokies moved into the Top 10 in the Week 11 Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls. Tech is No. 10 in the AP Poll and No. 9 in the Coaches Poll, which still inexplicably ranks them ahead of Clemson.
Tech moved up two spots in both polls, moving ahead of Nebraska and South Carolina, which fell after losing this weekend. This is the first time the Hokies have been ranked in the Top 10 since the 2010 preseason polls, which had them at No. 10 in the AP and No. 6 in the Coaches.
The Hokies' opponent this week, Georgia Tech, also moved up this week. The Yellow Jackets will go into Thursday's match-up ranked No. 20 in the AP Poll and No. 19 in the Coaches Poll.
The Harris Interactive Poll will be released later today and the updated BCS standings will be released at 8:15 p.m. EST.
