Virginia Tech's Non-Conference Opponents
Today’s the big signing day (App Fan)
The Mountaineers signed 19 guys, which doesn't seem big until you remember that FCS teams only have 63 players on scholarship at any time, not 85. Their signees include QB who looks pretty good and a guy named Bronson who isn't allowed to breathe on me.

PIP writes that several players in this year's class could start contributing immediately for ECU. The Pirates signed five JUCO players, including three on the defensive line and a running back who was the JUCO national player of the year.
First Signing Class for Freeze (The Den)
Arkansas State's new head coach is a guy named Hugh Freeze, who you're familiar with if you read The Blind Side and not familiar with if you watched The Blind Side. His first signing class includes 10 JUCO players. Wow. Like ECU, a lot of them will play immediately.

Boston College's Recruiting Class (BC Interruption)
Not a bad class for the Eagles, who signed a lot of depth on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Two players, Mehdi Abdesmad and Albert Louis-Jean, are already on campus and might contribute the quickest.
The 2011 Clemson Tiger Recruiting Class (Shakin The Southland)
STS calls this the best linebacker recruiting haul the Tigers have had. it includes Stephone Anthony, who Tech fans were hoping would come to Blacksburg. Other big-time players in this star-studded class include LB Tony Steward, WR Sammy Watkins and RB Mike Bellamy.
Signing Day Wrapup (Block-C)
Clemson's already highly ranked class would go through the roof if Jadeveon Clowney becomes a Tiger. However, Block-C expects him to go to South Carolina.
Duke Signing Day Coverage (Blue Devil Nation)
If Duke is ever going to make a bowl game, it has to get better on the offensive and defensive line. David Cutcliffe has started bringing in some capable skill position players, but the Devils are still lightyears behind the rest of the conference on the lines.
Jackets Sign 22, Miss Cooper And Tuitt (SB Nation Atlanta)
Two big-name defensive line recruits spurned Georgia Tech, but the Jackets did land an all-name quarterback in Vad Lee who stands to be their QB of the future. Help could also be coming their linebacking corps in the form of Jabari Hunt-Days.
Meet Your New Miami Hurricanes (The 7th Floor)
Notes on every Miami signee in a class that's being called anti-climactic. Not exactly the splash new head coach Al Golden was trying to make.

Edsall unconcerned about absence of QB in recruiting class (D1scourse)
The Terps already have Danny O'Brien and Jamarr Robinson on campus, so QB isn't a priority right now for the new coach. Next year will be a different story on the trail.
