Note: still working on how to implement the O-linemen, suggestions welcome.
James Anderson, LB Chicago Bears -- Anderson tallied 8 tackles, all solo, in the Bears' loss to the Saints. Anderson also tackled Drew Brees for a loss of one yard.
8 TAK, 8 SOLO, 1 TFL
Nick Becton, OT San Diego Chargers -- Active, did not play from what I can tell and saw his very first action against tha RAIDAS according to VT Football's Twitter account:
Congrats to Nick Becton, who made his NFL debut last night for the Chargers. From undrafted free agent to NFL player ... not bad, big guy!

Jarrett Boykin, WR Green Bay Packers -- Boykin's only contribution (that I can find) is a holding penalty. Whoops.
Duane Brown, OG Houston Texans -- Brown and the Texans got whooped, thanks to the Matt Schaub Special (multiple INTs, one goes for a TD). Brown was flagged for unnecessary roughness following a Houston fumble.
Roc Carmichael, CB Philadelphia Eagles -- Roc was credited with a solo tackle on punt coverage.
1 TAK, 1 SOLO
Kam Chancellor, S Seattle Seahawks -- Chancellor had five tackles, all were assisted tackles.
5 TAK
Brandon Flowers, CB Kansas City Chiefs -- Flowers returned after an injury and had a heck of a performance. He tallied eight tackles, six of which were solo efforts, and was credited with two passes defended. I'm guessing based off of the play-by-play here that Flowers tipped a ball that was intercepted. The NFL website is not cooperating with me.
8 TAK, 6 SOLO, 2 PD
DeAngelo Hall, CB Washington Redskins -- Washington had a bye week (was also in Blacksburg, see Tapp below).
Jayron Hosley, CB New York Giants -- Inactive (short-term injury)
Will Montgomery, G Washington Redskins -- Off week for the Redskins.
Josh Morgan, WR Washington Redskins -- CAN'T YOU READ WHAT I JUST WROTE THE LINE ABOVE?
Eddie Royal, WR San Diego Chargers -- Eddie and the Chargers played a late Sunday game, WAY past my bedtime. Eddie caught three passes for 26 yards and returned two punts for 21 yards. Looking at the play-by-play, it looks like a pass intended for Eddie was intercepted, but he tackled the guy and forced a fumble (that Oakland recovered). Royal also muffed a punt later in the game that was recovered by Oakland. The final play of the game for the Chargers was a pass intended for Royal that was intercepted. Jinkies. Royal tallied two solo tackles on the day.

Andre Smith, TE Dallas Cowboys -- Did not accumulate any stats.
Tyrod Taylor, QB Baltimore Ravens -- Did not accumulate any stats.
Darryl Tapp, DE/LB Washington Redskins -- Hey, Tapp was in Blacksburg taking in the game.
Michael Vick, QB Philadelphia Eagles -- Vick looked like he was off to a strong start against the Giants, but he pulled up on an 13-yard run in the second quarter. Vick would stay in for the rest of that series and the Eagles put three on the board. He left the game with a hamstring injury and did not return, Vick's biggest threat before leaving the game was his ability to run the ball effectively. He had runs of 5, 34, -2, 11, 4, 14 and 13 to bring his total to 79 yards on seven carries. The 34-yard scramble was a broken pass play on 3rd-and-20 to pick up a first down, after Tom Coughlin inexplicably accepted a holding call on a 3rd-down play that came short of a first down. The 14-yard run set LeSean McCoy up for a 1-yard touchdown run. Vick also completed 6 of 14 passes for 105 yards, with the highlight throws being a 24-yard pass and a 56-yard pass.
6 of 14, 105 YDS, 0 TD, 0 INT; 7 RUSH, 79 YDS
Ryan Williams, RB Arizona Cardinals -- You guessed it, Williams was inactive.
David Wilson, RB New York Giants -- Wilson looked like he was on track to have a strong game, but like Vick he was injured and left the game early. It appeared that Wilson hurt his neck on a play in which he ran into the Philly defensive line, was pushed back by (I think) Mike Patterson into the endzone. Wilson was eventually tackled in the endzone, and whether or not it should have been a safety is debatable. Earlier in the game, Wilson scored a five-yard touchdown on his second carry of the game and busted out this beauty of a celebration in the endzone:
(note: not my caption, obviously--here's the link).
Wilson ran the ball a few more times and was sitting at 16 yards on six carries before leaving. He also had one kickoff return for 16 yards and nearly pulled in a badly thrown Eli Manning pass with a diving effort. That was redundant, wasn't it?
6 RUSH, 16 YDS, TD; 1 RET, 16 YDS.
Jason Worilds, LB Pittsburgh Steelers -- Worilds and the Steelers were off this week.
