Earlier today, the Walter Camp Foundation released their pre-season watch list for the Walter Camp Award, which included 50 college football players. Logan Thomas was one of the names on that list, making it the third pre-season award watch list that he has been named to (Maxwell, Davey O'Brien).
The Walter Camp Award is given annually to the nation's top player as determined by Division I coaches and sports information directors.
Thomas threw for 2,976 yards in 2012 with 18 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He completed just over 51 percent of his passes. He also ran for 524, leading the team in that department, scoring 9 touchdowns.
Thomas, along with Antone Exum and Jack Tyler, have all been named to multiple pre-season award watch lists, while James Gayle (Bednarik), Cody Journell (Groza) and Andrew Miller (Outland) have also been named to an award watch list.
