2013 Virginia Tech Football: Marshall Story Stream

The Virginia Tech Hokies return home Saturday to host the Marshall Thundering Herd. Tech won their last game over Marshall in Huntington in 2011, 30-10, riding running backs David Wilson and Josh Oglesby as Logan Thomas was still getting his feet under him as a starter. The Hokies will be looking for a repeat performance, defensively at least, from that match up. Marshall also featured a first-year starter in quarterback Rakeem Cato, who has progressed markedly since then and is arguably one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, especially in their spread air-raid offense. Tech will have a task in front of them trying to slow down the pace, get guys rotated in, change personnel and keep their offense off the field. It should make for an interesting battle.
