Multiple Ticket Options Available For Western Carolina Game

It's been widely publicized that Virginia Tech's 93-game home sellout streak is in serious jeopardy as the Western Carolina Catamounts come to Blacksburg tomorrow.

Virginia Tech Athletics Director Jim Weaver is on record saying about 5,700 tickets still remain. Of those 5,700 remaining tickets, 3,700 were returned from Western Carolina's allotment, and the remaining 2,000 were from unsold season tickets.

With so many tickets remaining, it's looking like this is going to be a relatively easy game to get into, should you so desire to. So what are your options for acquiring a ticket to tomorrow's game?

HokieSports.com Ticket Sales

If you want to go to the game and support Virginia Tech at the same time, you could always buy tickets directly from HokieSports. Sadly, the price comes out to $50 dollars per ticket if you choose this route. I can't in good faith suggest purchasing a ticket for $50 against an FCS opponent that won a measly one game last season.

Walk-Up Sales

If you want to attend tomorrow's game but don't feel like ordering tickets online, you can go to Lane Stadium and buy tickets tomorrow before the game. However, expect to stand in line for these tickets, which will still be $50, according to Virginia Tech's Ticket Office.

Students

If you're a student that is looking to attend the game, you are in luck. Today until 4 PM, or until tickets run out, students can go to Cassell Coliseum and get a student ticket for free. Students are required to show their Hokie Passports at the ticket office in order to pick up a ticket.

Scalpers

And if you're not a student, but are still looking for a cheap option, you may be able to find a cheap pair of tickets from scalpers outside of Lane Stadium tomorrow. This is obviously the least legitimate way of getting into the game, but desperate times call for desperate measures, I suppose.
