ACC Polls Update

A look at the ACC Polls.

Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

The ACC Standings did not shift much from last week, but there are several surprises after Week 9. Most notably is the lack of consistency by any team in the Coastal Division other than Duke who continue to build off of their 2013 success.

ACC - Atlantic W-L PF PA W-L PF PA STRK
Florida State 4-0 160 81 7-0 265 151 W7
Clemson 5-1 164 94 6-2 258 146 W5
Louisville 4-2 147 93 6-2 247 117 W1
Boston College 2-2 86 78 5-3 214 150 W1
Syracuse 1-3 62 89 3-5 164 183 L1
North Carolina State 0-4 73 157 4-4 234 231 L4
Wake Forest 0-4 37 116 2-6 118 197 L4
ACC - Coastal W-L PF PA W-L PF PA STRK
Duke 2-1 61 60 6-1 235 106 W2
Georgia Tech 3-2 179 148 6-2 297 226 W1
North Carolina 2-2 128 154 4-4 299 330 W2
Miami (FL) 2-2 82 75 5-3 250 177 W2
Pittsburgh 2-2 98 116 4-4 232 186 L1
Virginia 2-2 87 88 4-4 230 183 L2
Virginia Tech 1-3 80 95 4-4 205 170 L2

The Atlantic Division is very much in hand by Florida State as they head into a big game with Louisville on Thursday night. Clemson pulled out a tough win against Syracuse, but need help to dethrone FSU at the top.

The Coastal is all Duke, which is surprising for the second straight season; however, David Cutcliffe is a hell of a coach and just keeps doing all of the right things in Durham. All of the teams in this division have at least two ACC wins besides the Virginia Tech Hokies who continue to slide down the standings.
