Virginia Tech (3-2, 0-0) returns to action as the Hokies play host to Morgan State (1-5, 0-0) Sunday at 3 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN3. This game is still part of the Cancun Challenge.
The Hokies are currently led in scoring by freshman Justin Bibbs (13 PPG) and Junior Adam Smith (12.8 PPG). Bibbs has shot the ball exceptionally well through five games making 60% of his shots from the floor and 66.7% of his three pointers. Smith isn't far behind with a 54.3% mark from the field and 45.8% from three point land.
Morgan State has only beaten Liberty by one 51-50 in the team's last game. The other outings have been losses to Penn State, Towson, Northern Iowa, Houston and Elon. Both Tech and Morgan were soundly defeated by Northern Iowa and both beat Liberty.

The Bears Are a better rebounding team on paper than the Hokies. Currently they rank 155th to Tech's 332nd spot in team rebounding.
The Hokies are 22nd in the nation in field goal shooting percentage making 50.4% as a team. Morgan by comparison ranks 345th in the land (34%).

Virginia Tech should be able to win this one at home to squeak to a 4-2 record. It will be a fairly empty house most likely, but people will be back in town after Thanksgiving break.
