Virginia Tech Nets Commitment From O-Lineman D'Andre Plantin

The Hokies snag their fourth offensive lineman of the 2015 class.

2015 offensive lineman D'Andre Plantin committed to Virginia Tech per his announcement on Twitter Wednesday evening.

Plantin is a 6'5", 277-pound lineman from Norcroos High School in Norcross, Ga. He named Tech his favorite on Tuesday and chose the Hokies over his other finalist Illinois.

According to 247Sports, Virginia Tech offensive line coach Stacy Searels was once again the lead recruiter on this O-line prospect. He joins Austin Clark as the second lineman to commit to Tech in the last four days.

Plantin, Clark, Mike Arnold and and Fredrick Johnson are all O-line recruits that represent a big haul for Tech, literally. Plantin is the smallest of the group at 277, which is some much needed bulk up front.

Stay with Gobbler Country as the Hokies continue to build a very strong 2015 recruiting class.
