Just a week after committing to Tennessee, guard Chris Clarke announced Thursday that he will attend Virginia Tech.

Clarke is an athletic 6'5", 170-pound guard out of Cape Henry Collegiate School in Virginia Beach.

247Sports pegs him as the 41st best player in the country, the 9th best shooting guard and the top player in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Clarke joins a plethora of athletic wings on Tech's roster with the ability to play small forward and two-guard. He clearly fits a mold that Buzz Williams likes and it's a huge recruiting coup. He joins point guard Justin Robinson as the second player in this class from the Boo Williams EYBL club and it's alway huge to get the top player in the state.

247 now rates the Hokies 2015 recruiting class as the 17th best in the nation.
