Virginia Tech will have a handful of committed and uncommitted recruits on campus for official visits this weekend. Many of these players have not made it to Blacksburg in a while or ever due to their high school football schedules and travel restrictions. The visitors are:
VT commits:
Adonis Alexander is a 3* safety prospect from Charlotte, NC.
D'Andre Plantin is a 3* offensive-line prospect from Georgia.
DuWayne Johnson is a 3* cornerback prospect from DC.
Steven Peoples is a walk-on from the '14 class that spent this fall prepping at Fork Union and will be a running back or athlete at VT.
Uncommitted:
Shelton Johnson is a defensive-end prospect from Delray Beach, FL.
Nyheim Hines is a running back prospect from NC.
Kenny Thomas is an offensive-line prospect from AL.
Tenn Commit:
Darrell Taylor is a defensive-end prospect from Richmond, VA.
Virginia Tech needs to finish out this class by adding some quality players that can contribute at areas of need DL, OL and RB (due to injuries and potential attrition).
Go Hokies!
