Virginia Tech joins Ole Miss as the only major conference team to publicly express serious interest at this point. The 245-pound prospect is a two star recruit according to the composite rankings.
He's got good size and finishes well at the rim in these clips. He's the kind of big body Tech desperately needs in the next couple of recruiting classes, next year's in particular.
Tech will have Zach Leday, Joey van Zegeren and Shane Henry eligible in the paint when Ogbeide could join the fold.
As a junior for Pebblebrook High School in Georgia, Ogbeide averaged 6.3 points,7 Rebounds and 4.8 blocks per game for the 24-6 Falcons. Pebblebrook is coached by George Washington.

As we profiled a while back, point guard Jawun Evans is a highly coveted player and Tech is still working hard to impress him. He's a big time athlete being pursued by a number of top programs.
Buzz Williams has been very aggressive in his staff's efforts to track down guards and wing players so far for Tech. Big men have been in short supply.
