Virginia Tech has quietly put together another outstanding recruiting class despite several in-state misses. According to 247Sports, the Hokies have the 23rd best class in 2015 with the recent addition of 4-5* prospects Tim Settle and Dwayne Lawson.
With the dead period over the Virginia Tech staff has hit the road in hopes of finishing the class strong. Two of the top targets left on board include:
Victor Alexander is a 5-10, 221lb inside linebacker prospect from Jacksonville, Florida that is currently committed to UCLA; however, he will be visiting there for the first time this weekend, which will give the Hokies a better idea of where they stand once he gets back. GobblerCountry is confident that if UCLA turns out to be too far from home that Victor will join former teammate Isaiah Ford in Blacksburg.

Darrell Taylor has long been a Virginia Tech target despite committing to Tennessee in early October. Taylor is a 6-4, 230lb defensive end prospect that is rated as the 12th overall player in the state of Virginia. Although he has confirmed him commitment with Tennessee, as a solid, the Hokies will not stop recruiting him until signing day.
Virginia Tech is also looking for 1-2 more offensive linemen for the 2015 class, so we expect several more offers to go out in the next week as the coaching staff continue evaluating senior highlights.
