Virginia Tech finally left the comforts of Cassell Coliseum to hit the road. Buzz Williams took his young team down my way into Niceville, Florida. The early season is littered with some interesting matchups, and this one was dubbed The Emerald Coast Classic. I live in the panhandle, and there is definately a coast, still checking on the emeralds. The Cyclones were everything as advertised, establishing dominance early. At the half, the score was 52-30, and @TeamCoachBuzz had his work cut out for him. Zach LeDay is still balling out of control with another 19 point performance.
Watched a lot of Zach LeDay when he was at USF...he's like a completely different player at Virginia Tech right now

Kevin Weiss knows a thing or two about Zach LeDay, being a U.S.F. alum. Zach transferred from sunny Florida to become the leading scorer in the young season. Iowa State did Cyclone things, as all starters ended in double digits. The Hokies (3-2) next game is against the UAB Blazers. The Hokies defense needs some work allowing 52 first half points from the 4th ranked team in the country. The Hokies did manage double digit scoring from Justin Bibbs, Seth Allen, and Justin Robinson.
