Tarheels Get No Love, Clemson is the Consensus

So, who had Clemson and North Carolina in the championship?  I had Clemson and Virginia Tech.  The Tigers lived up to their billing, the Hokies struggled.  In Charlotte, the A.C.C. will be decided.  Clemson can clinch a playoff spot, while the 'Heels are on the outside looking in.  The Tarheels could guarantee a HUGE bowl appearance with the win, but as an A.C.C. I'm rooting for Clemson so the conference will be represented in the final four.

Clemson is probably not as good as everyone gives them credit for. Neither is UNC, who struggled with putting US away. I still think Clemson has a better roster. 34-28 Tigers.

Clemson is just a little bit better at just about every position than UNC.  I think this game will be close, but too much speed and talent from Clemson gives them the win.  31-28 Tigers.

Tigers still eat goats... ;-)

BOOMS!

This year’s ACC Championship game is one of the more exciting games to be played for the ACC crown in a long time, if ever. Never have two teams, with legitimate cases for a chance at the CFB National Championship, met in the ACC Championship game. North Carolina continues to play their best football of the year. They’ve got a solid offense and their defense is respectable.  They’ve blown out the teams they were supposed to blow out, but there are questions about how challenged they were during their season. UNC does not have any particular signature win, and they do have that season opening loss to South Carolina. Clemson, on the other hand, is undefeated and has two stand out wins against Notre Dame and Florida State. Both teams are solid and have talent, but I feel like Clemson has the edge. They are more talented and they have faced greater challenges. They have been in the limelight and under pressure since the CFB Playoff rankings came out. That being said, I do not think UNC just rolls over - they will come out swinging. In the end Clemson will win the game, 35-24.

Clemson dominates.  Dabo will have the Tigers ready to play for a shot at an undefeated season.  North Carolina likes to turn it over against physical defenses. Clemson 41 North Carolina 10.
